Last month, The Women’s Organisation received a total of three awards in the Northern Leadership Awards and the Regional Business Awards. The talents and dedication of our team have been recognised and we couldn’t be prouder of our achievements.
The Northern Leadership Awards, established by The Business Desk, have been running since 2019 with the aim to recognise and celebrate inspirational leaders and role model figures within Northern business. Our CEO Maggie O’Carroll was awarded Second and Third Sector Leader for her long-standing enthusiasm and dedication to The Women’s Organisation.
On May 26th, The Regional Business Awards took place at the Rum Warehouse and was attended by 10 members of our team. We were shortlisted and won two awards, the first being Customer Focus Award, followed by Maggie receiving Business Person of the Year. We felt privileged to be recognised by such a prestigious award ceremony and would like to thank the judging panel for acknowledging our work and commitment to our local community.
