Job Title: Positive Action Trainee Engagement Adviser
Reporting to: Head of Engagement and Marketing
Salary Scale: £18,300-£19,500
Is this you?
We are seeking a colleague for this new role that will care as much as we do about our client’s journey and experience. You will have started to gain some skills and experience perhaps in a customer service or community relationships environment and will be ready to soak in learning to take the next step in your career.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an understanding or experience of the impact of racism, gender inequality or the medical model of disability to make a positive impact in our region.
You will learn how to be the welcoming front door of The Women’s Organisation for women contacting us looking for help. You will have natural empathy and be able to retain a vast range of information well. We will help you to hone these skills to learn how to offer a diagnostic of needs and ability to signpost women into the right support for them.
We are hoping to find someone passionate about making a difference who will help us to develop fresh approaches to reach out and engage with our clients, ensuring that women from all backgrounds and communities have the opportunity to connect with us.
You will need to be a proactive individual with excellent verbal, written, listening, and information analysis skills.
We are particularly (but not exclusively) interested in hearing from those who have working knowledge of the Halton community (though happy to hear from those willing to get to know the area). Maybe you live in Halton or have previously worked there and so have an understanding of the community, the challenges and opportunities there.
We know that creating a diverse workforce builds a stronger business and gives us better opportunity to reach all women in our community. With that in mind we would especially like to invite those from a Black, Asian or Ethnic Minority background or those with a disability to put themselves forward for this opportunity to improve representation within our engagement team.
