As the year comes to a close we are looking back on our collaboration with NatWest in 2022. This was facilitated by NatWest’s fantastic Local Enterprise Manager for Liverpool and surrounding areas, Natalie Hughes.

This year NatWest ran two great events in collaboration with The Women’s Organisation.

Business Advisor John Carroll provides business support in the Liverpool City Region
Business Advisor John Carroll

In June we ran a session called ‘Developing a 60 Second Pitch’ with the NatWest Business Builder Team.

During this session the team broke down the 60-second or ‘elevator’ pitch down into its component parts and helped clients to structure their pitch for maximum impact to ensure they never missed another business opportunity.

In November they also ran a fantastic session from 54 St James Street entitled ‘The Funding Landscape’, in partnership with The WO and River Capital.

The event brought together a number of female entrepreneurs, who were keen to explore the funding options available in the region, and take advice on the right time to seek investment.

We heard from a panel of experts and clients, including some of those assisted by NatWest, who shared their funding and investment journeys with the group.

Our very own John Carroll also ran through the steps needed to become investor ready. This was a fantastic, well received event and we appreciate NatWest, once again, supporting our clients through the current climate.

Alongside these events we were able to refer numerous clients through for support from NatWest.
