September welcomed Start Up Week with Enterprise Hub celebrating self-employment and entrepreneurship across the Liverpool City Region. Enterprise Hub hosted a number of free events including seminars and workshops to support individuals in LCR considering self-employment with business advice and support. 

Enterprise Hub is THE enterprise gateway for business start-up support in Liverpool City Region, and through a network of business support agencies, Enterprise Hub is able to offer expert guidance to anyone who is thinking about starting a business.

Last year, the British Library delivered a national ‘Start Up Day’ to mark the tenth anniversary of the London Business & IP Centre and over 1,500 events took place across the country. This year, Thursday 21st of September marked national ‘Start Up Day’ and Liverpool Central Library had a whole host of events in place, including a masterclass in ‘How to Build a Social Media Strategy’ and ‘Understand Your Customer’, led by media giant, Google.
