When a woman is empowered, women are empowered. Each new achievement reinforces us all.

WICED International Research Hub

We are helping to create/convene a global community working for women worldwide

The Women’s International Centre for Economic Development (WICED) is both a provider and an innovator of services for women, enabling economic independence through employment education and enterprise entrepreneurship, and empowering women through personal and social development.

To support our work, we are proud to host the International Research Hub, which brings together a wealth of published research, existing knowledge and established best practice, to provide a strong evidence base to guide our services, shape our policies and influence decision makers at all levels.

Our International Research Hub has an expert panel of leading thinkers and researchers, who offer a wide range of experience and expertise. This creates an unrivalled forum of ideas and innovation, backed by a rigorous academic approach, which inspires our organisation and underlines our aim to deliver opportunities for all women from all backgrounds.

The work, and influence, of The Women’s International Centre for Economic Development is integrated into a worldwide network of similar organisations, which are working together to raise the profile of women across the globe through collaboration, exchange of knowledge and mutual support.
