Bookkeeping Course

I am getting to grips with my finances

Using the key strategies demonstrated on our basic bookkeeping course you can keep your own books for your business saving valuable money on accountancy fees. Avoid being buried under a pile of receipts and utilise our basic business bookkeeping model to help you to keep your books in order and run your business correctly.

Many businesses that start-up quickly fall at the first hurdle of Bookkeeping and make expensive mistakes requiring an Accountant to fix them. Make sure you keep your books in order and avoid having to shell out for an Accountant when your business is not ready, by learning the simple skills on our Basic Bookkeeping course.

Basic business Bookkeeping Course

The Women’s Organisation’s  half day informative Basic Bookkeeping Course will help you to understand the current requirements of HMRC (Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs), when recording your accounts, and help you create an easy to use recording system for your Business accounts.

Whatever your level of confidence in managing finances and working with numbers, we have the resources to provide you with a monthly or annual report so that you can record your expenditures and outgoings properly. This hands-on course will help you to understand the importance of keeping your books properly in business and give you the skills to do so.

Basic Bookkeeping will save you money in Accountancy fees, and give you the information required so you can fill in your own tax Self-Assessment and comply with HMRC standards. We will also show you time-saving techniques and build your confidence with business finances. Keeping your books need not be scary, so build your confidence and understand the books of your business with our Basic Bookkeeping course.

If you are registered on our Enterprise Hub Business Start-up Programme then you could be eligible for a fully funded place on this course as the programme is supported by European Regional Development Fund.  Please speak to your business adviser for more information.
