Following a meeting with Liverpool City Council, the plans for the new Women’s International Centre for Economic Development were officially approved! The design which was drawn up by Nightingale Associates, was congratulated by the planners.
Kier North West have now been appointed to head up the contruction of the scheme which will begin later this year and expects to be completed in late 2010. Wiced, which will run as a social enterprise, will be housed in a £5.3m building in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle area.
