What’s your full name and where are you from?

My full name is Moe Thida and I’m from Myanmar.

 

Tell me how you first found out about The Women’s Organisation and become part of our team?
A few of my friends use to work here and I’ve heard from them. Now I’m in the Finance team.

 

What kind of things have you done prior to coming to The Women’s Organisation?

I’ve worked in catering for more than 10 years, during those year I studied AAT and I really wanted to work in an accounting firm.

 

What has surprised you about working at The Women’s Organisation?

Everything! It’s a new place, a new role and new colleagues.

 

What’s the best thing about working at The Women’s Organisation so far?

Everyone is welcoming and friendly.

 

What does your day to day look like?
Dealing with lots of numbers. 😀

 

What might (someone) be surprised to know about you?

I’m a DIY lady, a real expert in plumbing!

 

What’s your top 3 favourite films?

Power series, Narcos, and Demon Slayer.

 

What do you do when you aren’t working?

Spend time with my boy Philip, who is 6 years old and he is mommy’s boy.

 

If you could change anything in the world, what would you change?

Equal opportunities to women, especially Asian men as it is hard to change their attitude.
