Are you looking to make a positive change in your life but not sure where to start?

Is it time for something new after being stuck in the same routine?

Our ‘Change it’ programme will help you gain the confidence to take those first steps – and will support you with the skills to create lasting changes for the better!

Here are 5 reasons to join our ‘Change it’ programme – from Victoria, one of our training experts here at The Women’s Organisation . . .

1. Make time for you

Taking time out from your daily routine is important for your own self-care. Taking some ‘me’ time as a priority might seem a little bit selfish, but if you do it on a regular basis, it can help you to reduce your stress levels, help you to be more productive, improve your concentration, boost your creativity, strengthen your relationships – and it can even boost your self-esteem. Taking time out for yourself can also help you to feel more refreshed.

2. Learn new skills

Gaining new skills is one of the most important things you can do to develop yourself, learning new skills helps you both in your professional and personal life. It helps you to achieve your goals, gives you confidence, and can give you the motivation that you need to make a change.

3. A variety of topics

Reason number three is the variety of topics we have on the ‘Change it’ course, from learning about your thought processes, to budgeting, to assertiveness, to goal setting – we have a different topic each week. We start in week one by building your confidence skills with practical strategies to start you on your journey.

4. Talk to real people!

As well as chatting with our amazing tutor team of Germaine, Hannah and myself, you will also get to know your new group. Over lockdown, we’ve all been left talking to the wall (or the microwave!) and ‘Change it’ is your chance to connect with actual humans!! 😊 – how amazing! We run mixed groups with people of all ages and from lots of different backgrounds.

5. Find positive friends and mentors

‘Change it’ is a great way to make new friends and this can help to build your self-confidence too. Every new friend that we meet has some skills or experience that can help us to do things in a better way. Sometimes the biggest deterrent to us accomplishing our goals is thinking that we can’t – and friends can often see strengths in us that we aren’t able to recognise ourselves. Your new friends will give you the encouragement to try something new or do something better.
