Roz Lloyd – Marketing Manager at Marketing Liverpool
Roz began her passion for marketing the city and promoting the economic benefits of combining business with culture in 2008 as part of the Liverpool’s European Capital of Culture year. Since then she has continued to work in destination marketing both locally and globally, with a personal highlight including working in Shanghai at the World Expo in 2010.
Following on from this unique experience Roz has worked on many of MarketingLiverpool’s sub-brands including Invest Liverpool, Club Liverpool, Liverpool Convention Bureau, MIPIM’s Team Liverpool, alongside working with city stakeholders such as Culture Liverpool, city region boroughs and The Business Festival team.
Christina McDermott – Founder of Cattington
Christina has over a decade’s experience of working in social media with some of the world’s best known brands. She established Cattington in 2017.
Her work has seen her create social media strategy, community management campaigns and branded content for Unilever’s portfolio of global food brands; including Knorr, Stork margarine, Flora, Wall’s ice cream and Magnum.
She has also worked on branded content and content strategy for Marks and Spencer, RADA and Jaguar USA among others and provided community management and influencer outreach services to Pottermore, General Mills, Reckitt Benckiser and Danone.

WO ConnectThe Women’s Organisations WO Connect (formerly Business Club) is an exclusive women’s only networking group which is open to female business owners.
Membership is open to female business owners only and is per individual not per business. Additional staff members can be booked onto individual events as you go. Our events will mostly be held online or at our flagship building, 54 St James Street in Liverpool but members are welcome to join from anywhere.
How much does it cost?We don’t have a membership fee as such. All we ask is that you make a one-off donation to The Women’s Organisation charity. This donation will help towards the cost of running WO Connect and help us continue to deliver our support for women in business. The minimum donation is £25 and this instates you as a ‘member for life’ – that’s right, no annual renewal fees. We also welcome larger donations, just specify the amount when completing your membership form.
