Taking on Employees: What you need to know

Are you ready to take your business to the next level? Learn everything you need to know about taking on new employees in this online event!

Peter has worked as an Executive Director for People for over 16 years and has 25 years in HR. He has worked for several organisations across different sectors and geographics including Marks and Spencer, Jardine Lloyd Thompson, Vertex and most recently the Home Office.

Within each of those businesses he has made significant impact to the delivery of the people vision.

Delivery of Award-winning HR Service centres in the UK and Asia.

– Set up over 50 new companies and ensures that they are legal compliant

– Increase productivity of newly recruited staff by up to 20%.

– Extensive experience of building, leading and coaching senior teams.

– 15% increase in employee engagement.

The session will look at:

– The employee journey

– Setting the team member up for success before they start

– Getting ready for the first day

– Legal compliance – contract, handbook, policies and procedures, right to work

– The first week – how to get the most out of your new employee

– Performance management and the probation period

– Evaluating success

This programme is open to people living and working in the Liverpool City Region (Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, Wirral, St Helens, or Halton)
