Let’s Talk About… Domestic Abuse

This half day session will give you an understanding of the dynamics of an abusive relationship and how to know when someone needs help

What do you know about domestic abuse?

Perhaps you work with clients and are concerned that they might be in an abusive relationship?

Maybe you’re worried about a work colleague?

In this helpful half-day course, you will look at:

  • How do you start the conversation?
  • What can you do to help?

This course will give you an understanding of the dynamics of an abusive relationship and show you how to recognise the tell-tale signs that someone might need help. It gives you the knowledge, confidence and language to talk about domestic abuse and signpost the best available support.
