The programme is delivered over 6 weeks through a combination of group mentoring\, 1:1 coaching and advice and access to additional free training between sessions choosing modules that suit your business needs. During the sessions you will meet other like-minded women business leaders and leave with a plan to fast track your business or organisation moving forward. \n \nWhat to expect \nYour journey starts here. Book your ticket online and one of our team will call you to check eligibility and conduct an initial diagnostic. \nThe Excelerate Women coaching system has been created with results in mind\, both results in confidence for you as a leader and results in numbers (tangible return on investment). Early on we will set you up with our action calendar\, so before the 6 weeks are up\, you will have already seen a return on your time. \nWe understand that for women in business sometimes time commitment is a stretch\, or there may be others within your organisation who you would prefer to benefit from specific elements of the programme. All we ask from you is that you commit to signing up\, being involved in leading the strategy elements of the programme\, but if you would prefer to nominate a team member to pick up different modules or meetings then just let us know along the way. \n \nProgramme Outline \nJoin in these core coaching sessions: \nWeek 1 – 8th Sept 11am-12.30pm Deep Dive \nLive on zoom work with our mentor to really shine a microscope on your business. We will help you understand the importance of goals and setting them for your business. Its not just a case of writing goals down\, its deciding whats important for the business\, and going for them. Sometimes\, as entrepreneurs\, you will see new opportunities\, but by deciding what would make a good month\, quarter or year now and sticking to it\, we won’t find ourselves getting distracted. \n \nWeek 3 – 22nd Sept Action Calendar (2 hours – time TBC) \nOnce we have our goals and know where we are heading\, we will introduce you to our Action Calendar Tool. It will help you build in the activity that’s going to get you to where you need to be. SUMMARY:WoConnect - Women Who Lead
DESCRIPTION:Women in leadership who are paving the way for an equal economy\n\n\n\nAll women are leaders and have a sphere in which they can impact and influence. But how can we use our power to speed the process of equality in business? \nWomen Who Lead will shine a spotlight on some of the innovators and entrepreneurs who are breaking the mould for women in a range of industries. \nJoin us and celebrate the trailblazing women in business and modern-day suffragettes who are leading today’s charge for equality. \nPLUS\, the official launch of our brand new women in business network; WoConnect. \nSpeakers: \nJaz Ampaw-Farr – Resilience Ninja\, International Speaker\, TV Presenter\, Fired by Lord Sugar & TEDx Talker \nSam White – CEO of Freedom Services Group \nElaine Clarke – CEO of Baa Bar Limited \nRosie Kenyon – Managing Director of Kenyons Limited \n& Chaired by Maggie O’Carroll – CEO of The Women’s Organisation \nJaz Ampaw-Farr \nJaz’s story is one of growing up in the midst of most appalling abuse\, poverty and hardship during which she encountered five teachers (and\, importantly\, one pimp) whose belief in her literally saved her life. She shares her fantastic journey of how saying yes first allowed her to progress from council estate and foster care to advising international governments on education policy. Both her (very) brief stint on TV’s The Apprentice and her career as a stand up comedian are good examples of this. And she shows that a human being can be subject to the worst depravities of her fellow humans and not only survive\, but thrive – and do so without anger or bitterness. \n \n\n\n\n& more speakers TBC. \nWoConnect: \nWO Connect (formerly Business Club) is built on three core values: connecting\, sharing and supporting. It’s a gathering of like-minded women in business and a way to meet and learn from people just like you.\n Designed for both new and established women-led businesses\, our regular events are inclusive\, safe\, welcoming and\, above all\, insightful. You’ll leave with new contacts and role models\, buzzing with ideas and inspiration to build your business.\n \n\nWe offer two types of membership: Women in Business membership and Corporate membership. Whether a business-owner or an employee of\, our members represent a broad range of industries from across the Liverpool City Region.\n \n\nBenefits include discounted prices to networking events\, priority booking to exclusive events\, plus receiving\, and the opportunity to contribute to\, regular e-newsletters. \nContact our team on WoConnect@thewo.org.uk to find out more on how to become a member.
