He now runs Liverpool Business News in partnership with Jennie Lewis.\n \n \n\n\nWO Connect \nThe Women’s Organisations WO Connect (formerly Business Club) is an exclusive women’s only networking group which is open to female business owners. \nMembership is open to female business owners only and is per individual not per business. Additional staff members can be booked onto individual events as you go. Our events will mostly be held online or at our flagship building\, 54 St James Street in Liverpool but members are welcome to join from anywhere. \nHow much does it cost?  \nWe don’t have a membership fee as such. All we ask is that you make a one-off donation to The Women’s Organisation charity. This donation will help towards the cost of running WO Connect and help us continue to deliver our support for women in business. The minimum donation is £25 and this instates you as a ‘member for life’ – that’s right\, no annual renewal fees. We also welcome larger donations\, just specify the amount when completing your membership form.

She is also involved with Small Business Saturday UK.  \n \nChristina McDermott – Founder of Cattington \n\n\n\nChristina has over a decade’s experience of working in social media with some of the world’s best known brands. She established Cattington in 2017.\n \n \nHer work has seen her create social media strategy\, community management campaigns and branded content for Unilever’s portfolio of global food brands; including Knorr\, Stork margarine\, Flora\, Wall’s ice cream and Magnum. She has also worked on branded content and content strategy for Marks and Spencer\, RADA and Jaguar USA among others and provided community management and influencer outreach services to Pottermore\, General Mills\, Reckitt Benckiser and Danone.

Throughout the pandemic\, Natalie has managed to keep trading\, adapting her business to operate in a COVID-safe way. \nSince founding The Nakery\, Natalie has branched out into skincare\, has started a podcast\, and has built her own personal brand.  \n \nJennifer Bailey – Founder of Calla Shoes \n\n\n\nJennifer is the founder of Calla Shoes\, a brand of stylish footwear specially designed for women who have bunions or problem feet.\n \n \nWhen Jennifer was in her early 30s she suddenly realised that finding fashionable shoes to wear for special occasions\, work or nights out with the girls was becoming increasingly difficult because she suffered from a foot condition called bunions.\n \nShe had her lightbulb moment when she was searching online for her wedding shoes and was disappointed that there was nothing out there for her.  She vowed to start a business one day making pretty shoes for women just like her.\n \nFast forward to 5 years later when she was in a redundancy situation while pregnant with her second daughter\, Jennifer decided that was the right time to pursue this idea.\n \n \nIn 2016 she launched on callashoes.co.uk with a small collection of shoes and now in 2021\, Calla has sold shoes to women in over 50 countries around the world and continues to grow each year.
