SUMMARY:Franchising a Business
DESCRIPTION:Do you want to grow your business\, have you thought about using a franchise business model?\n\n\nLed by The Women’s Organisation this event is part of our business support programme\, part funded by European Regional Development Fund and offering FREE advice and guidance to those living in the Liverpool City Region or Greater Manchester thinking of starting a business. \n \nIn this session you will understand the 3 fundamentals you must consider before franchising your business. \nGuest Speaker Information:\n \n \nCheryl White is the Founder of Mercury Franchise School and is a renowned franchise strategist and the creator of the Franchise to Freedom Mastermind\, Franchise to Freedom Self Made Programme and Franchise to Freedom Foundation Programme.\n \nCheryl believes that every business can be franchised provided it is profitable and has a business model that can be replicated. Before Cheryl franchised her business she was the owner of Apollo Care on the Wirral whilst working as a District Nurse; as Cheryl’s business grew she quickly had to learn on her feet. After feeling burnt out as a result of her own success\, Cheryl knew there had to be another way of growing her business and that’s when Cheryl discovered franchising.\n \nCheryl has put all her lessons into a streamlined process that can be applied to any business. That is when the Mercury Franchise School was born. Since franchising her business it went from turning over £100\,000 to £1\,000\,000 per year as the result of her strategies. Cheryl’s easy to follow methods will help you grow your business and many of her students have sold their first franchise before completing the programme – her methods work!\n \n \nThis course is open to Women in the Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester\, and booking is essential. \nPlease note\, tickets for this event will close on Wednesday 30th March at 9 am. \nThis course is offered as part of The Women’s Organisation’s wider programme of FREE business support. SUMMARY:Unconscious Bias - Level 2
DESCRIPTION:This three week accredited training programme will look at how unconscious bias shapes the world around us and how we can tackle it.\n\n\nHow does unconscious bias shape our perspectives\, and how can we challenge it in our everyday life? \nIntroducing this new accredited training\, funded through the European Social Fund\, where you will complete one unit of a Level 2 qualification! \nAbout this training \nOver three sessions\, we look at where unconscious bias comes from and how it shapes the world around us. \n\nReflect on personal biases and learn about ways to challenge and change the way you think. \nWhy do we tend to prefer people who are like us?\nWhat leads to stereotyping and how do we reinforce stereotypes without realising? \nWhy are some people constantly overlooked and excluded? \nCrucially\, what can we do about it?\n\nThese sessions give you the opportunity to start the discussion in an open and non-judgemental way and to identify positive action points. Awareness is the first step but we all need to take the next step and start to make a difference. \nThis course includes useful strategies for personal development and for making your workplace more inclusive and diverse and is a great foundation for future Equality Training. \nThe training will take place online via Zoom in 3 sessions\, Thursday 24th & Thursday 31st March\, Thursday 7th April\, 10.00 am – 12:30 pm. \nEligibility \nThis programme is open to people living and working in the Liverpool City Region (Liverpool\, Sefton\, Knowsley\, Wirral\, St Helens\, or Halton) but please contact our team to check full eligibility. \nAs this project is funded by the European Social Fund\, you will need to provide evidence of right to work in the UK and fill in a registration form. One of our team will be in touch to collect this from you before the course starts. \nExamples of evidence you could provide includes: \n\nPassport\nNational Insurance number card or letter from HMRC\nBirth or adoption certificate\n\nWe will also need some evidence of your current employment status\, but our team will discuss this with you based on your individual circumstances. \nQuestions?
