We are supporting the digital agenda
With the world of business and entrepreneurship becoming increasingly more and more digital, The Women’s Organisation know and understand how vital it is to keep up to speed with developments in the digital world. This is why we offer a tailored and comprehensive package of digital services, training and projects so that we can help and support learners through digital advances.
Social Media & Business
Through our Business Support programmes, we are constantly striving to keep women in business up to date with the latest advancements in Social Media and work with our clients to help it benefit their business. As well as our training course on how to build a Social Media strategy for your business, we look further into the intricacies of specific Social Media platforms such as Hootsuite, LinkedIn and Twitter to support our women as they use these valuable areas of digital marketing to support their business. Visit our 'Business Training' page to find out more about the courses we currently offer.
Advice & Support
As well as this, our team of Business Advisors will work with our women in business, from the business inceptions and start-ups to growing and expanding businesses to look at their digital needs. Our Advisors are well versed in Social Media strategies and advancements and will work with our women in business to use digital marketing and Social Media to their best advantage. Other areas of advice are around rules of trading a business online and the suitability of websites for individual businesses.
Projects & Programmes
Along with partners from across the globe, The Women’s Organisation is working on developing a new, innovative ICT and digital training programme for staff delivering vocational education and training, in the fields of entrepreneurship and business development. This comes under the Digital Innovations for Growth Academy (DIGA) project. With partners from Spain, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Norway and Limerick, The Women’s Organisation will create training which provides opportunities for Enterprise Trainers and Educators (ETE) to attain a greater knowledge of digital skills and tools.
